If I had an hour to solve a problem I’d spend 55 minutes thinking about the problem and 5 minutes thinking about solutions.

Starting a business is like producing a film - you have to anticipate potential problems and take measures to prevent them. Business plans are great because they reveal those potential problems that you didn't realize at first (i.e. startup costs, business partners, investments, etc.).

Each day this week, I will identify one potential problem that I've noticed in my business and focus on a game plan to prevent those problems. Like the Good Book says, "Plans of the diligent surely lead to prosper." (Proverbs 21:5).

So today, go over your business plan. Dissect it left and right, and find those potential problems that will prevent your business from being successful. Always remain 10 steps ahead of your business.
