The third issue I have with my business plan is a weak growth plan. I've already mapped out what my goals are for the rest of the year, but I haven't thought about beyond that. I like taking things one step at a time, but I'm realizing in business you need to be ahead of your company, and not the other way around.
What will my company look like next year? What about the year after, or the year after that? If my company grows and I don't have a plan established, then I'll panic and won't know what do. Today, I'm going to map out my goals for the next five years. It is better to think of solutions to problems that don't exist yet.
