A steady heart calms the storm in mind.

With work being so intense lately, I haven't had the chance to work on my marketing strategy this week. It's already June, and I was meant to exercise my marketing strategy. But you know? That's okay. These things happen and the important thing to remember to remain steady in those moments. It's all in the mind. Whenever I'm behind on tasks, or realize that I have a lot on my plate for the day, I tend to think of the worst case scenario.

"Oh no! I'll never get my marketing strategy done!"

"I have to do 20 tasks now!? If I don't finish it, I'll get fired and be homeless tomorrow!"

"If I don't finish this project, then my blood pressure will rise and then I'll die!"

Yeah, those thoughts actually do come from my mind. Sounds ridiculous, right? It's over-dramtization. I'm learning to be steady in these moments. If I'm going to run a business, I need to have a steadfast mind so that my company doesn't drown when the storms hit. And if I'm going to be an entrepreneur, I need to have a steadfast heart to be able to balance everything else in my life.

A wandering mind leads to unnecessary over-dramatization
