Yesterday, I shot an incredible wedding with my wife and a couple friends helping me. I had such a fun time that I even danced to Gangnam Style while holding my camera at the end of the reception! The bride & groom were shocked and danced along with me as well as the rest of the party. It might not seem like a professional thing to do, but you know what? It's me.
"Is that wedding photographer?"
"That's the photographer and he just danced Gangnam Style!"
"That was amazing!"
I took a chance to stand out in the crowd and it worked. That's hundreds of potential clients that now know me because I simply danced with the party. Here's my take away: Entrepreneurs should dance. Whatever business venture they have, entrepreneurs should take chances to stand out in the crowd to let the whole world know who they are. I'm not saying dancing is the solution, but rather doing something so different and unique that you become unforgettable. To me, that's effective marketing.
So make your business stand out and just dance.
