The purpose of life is to live it, to taste experience to the utmost, to reach out eagerly and without fear for newer and richer experience.
— Eleanor Roosevelt

My wife and I stayed in a beach house this weekend in Balboa Beach, California. Work has been pretty stressful for the both of us, so a beach getaway was the perfect way to be refreshed, re-energized, and to re-connect with each other. That's my take away from this weekend - never lose sight of the people you love most. Starting a business can be pretty exciting, but don't trade it over family & friends.

My favorite thing to do is travel with my wife. We always feel closer when we travel because we make time to re-connect with God and re-connect with each other. That's the beauty of marriage - no matter how hard life gets, you have opportunities to re-connect with your life partner and strengthen each other. My marriage will always come before my business.

So if you're overwhelmed with work and life in general, take your family or friends away to re-connect. Take these moments of rest and soak up every single minute of it.
